Rev. John M. Milanese is Retiring
It is with great sorrow that Our Lady of the Angels Church announces the impending retirement of our beloved shepherd, Rev. 'Father John' Milanese.
After over 20 years of faithful service to our parish and the wider Catholic/Christian community, the Diocese of Burlington has announced Father John's retirement, effective the end of June 2019.
A brilliant 'teaching' homilist, compassionate shepherd of the faith, excellent cook, great listener, and devoted servant of the Lord, Father John's whiteboard homilies, humor, and compassion will be sorely missed.
He leaves behind a parish that is growing and a church that is his legacy.
We offer Father John our prayers and best wishes as he walks gracefully, in faith and in the footsteps of his Savior, towards the next phase of his life.
